MBC students have the opportunity to participate in a wide array of sports in multiple competitions and associations throughout the year. School spirit is strong at Moreton Bay College and teams compete against other independent schools, giving girls an appreciation that their effort can make all the difference to team achievement.
Students in the Junior School compete within the Andrews Cup competition and students in Years 7 to 12 compete in multiple competitions including the Queensland Girls’ Secondary Schools’ Sports Association (QGSSSA) competition and a range of other club-based sporting programmes. We also encourage talented students to apply for district, regional, state and national selection in their sport or cultural pursuit.

Water Polo teams play in the Brisbane Water Polo Association Inc. (BWPI) competition. This competition is open to all school and club players within the Brisbane area. The season is played on Saturdays, starting in Term 4 and concluding at the end of Term 1 the following year. Students in Years 4 – 12 are eligible.
