Africa Tour

A joint tour for students in Years 11-12 from MBBC and MBC. This two-and-a-half-week tour of Tanzania, Africa includes time in Arusha, visiting local villages, climbing Mt Meru, working in a Maasai village and enjoying a safari on the Serengeti.

Antipodeans Vietnam Expedition

A joint tour planned by students for students from MBC and MBBC, over two and a half weeks students partake in a community service project, hike through rural Vietnam in Sapa, explore Vietnam’s busting capital, Hanoi, and sail in Halong Bay.

The CASE Space School International Study Programme is a 14-day tour which provides students with the opportunity to learn and apply transportable skills in one of the world’s most profound and inspiring STEAM Environments – NASA.

Drama and Dance Tour

Run every second year, Students studying dance and drama in Years 10-12 travel to Melbourne and Sydney over a period of seven days to participate in workshops with professional Theatre and Dance companies, Tertiary training institutions, tours venues and gain greater insight into the Entertainment industry and pathways to it.

French Tour

Students studying French in Years 10-12 may be given the opportunity to visit France or another French speaking country to gain a broader perspective and awareness of another culture. Dependant on numbers.

International Sports Tour

Students in high performing sports teams in Years 9-12 may be selected to join an international sports tour, where teams travel to another country to play others schools and colleges or represent Australia at international competitions. Past destinations include New Zealand, China, Europe and the UK.

Japanese short-term homestay programme

Students have the opportunity to host Japanese students from Keisen Girls’ Senior High School (Tokyo) for approximately 14 days in July/August every second year. Students in the Secondary school who are currently studying Japanese are given preference to host; however, all students are encouraged to apply.
