While home learning the students created several artworks that were based on the exterior and interior of their home. These artworks were further developed on return to school to create a final piece that was inspired by their home. The students created their artwork using a variety of drawing, painting, and collage materials.
The students explored Abstract Art. They experimented with a variety of painting methods and looked at different ways to compose an image. In their final piece they cropped a photographic image to make an image that was then painted. Paint texture and colour mixing were important to the art works success.
